Warranty & Support

Statutory warranty rights

Statutory warranty rights apply for consumers.

An additional guarantee only exists if it has been expressly promised in writing.

Support and follow-up

Where shown in the offer or invoice, a separate support or follow-up scope of services may be agreed. Such support may for example include:

  • Assistance during commissioning
  • Questions about configuration
  • Support with basic troubleshooting
  • Guidance on care, maintenance, and updates

The exact scope is determined exclusively by the respective offer or individual agreement.

Notes on customer-made modifications

Later modifications to the system by the customer or third parties — in particular to BIOS/UEFI settings, cooling, cabling, operating system, storage media, voltages, clock speeds, loop configuration, or installed components — may significantly affect fault analysis and supportability.

This applies in particular to:

  • Own overclocking or undervolting
  • BIOS updates or firmware changes
  • Modifications to water cooling systems
  • Replacement or extension of components
  • Changes to individually manufactured cables

Statutory rights remain unaffected. However, for the assessment of later causes of fault, it may be relevant whether and which modifications were made after handover.

Notes on overclocking

Overclocking, where expressly agreed, is provided as an individual optimisation service based on the conditions present at the time of testing. Results may vary depending on environment, ambient temperature, cooling situation, component variance, BIOS version, operating system state, load profile, and later modifications.

Notes on Direct-Die modifications

Direct-Die modifications and comparable irreversible modifications are only carried out after separate agreement and technical assessment. Depending on the individual case, the following points may in particular be relevant:

  • Irreversible modification to hardware
  • Possible implications for manufacturer or third-party warranty conditions
  • Increased requirements for assembly, cooling, and transport
  • Different requirements for later modifications or maintenance

Notes on individual water cooling

Individual water cooling systems require proper handling as well as regular visual inspection and maintenance. The following is recommended in particular:

  • Regular visual inspection for anomalies
  • Use of suitable coolants
  • No improper intervention in the loop
  • Special care during transport and modifications
  • Maintenance at reasonable intervals depending on usage and build

Maintenance, cleaning, refilling, fluid changes, and replacement of wear parts can be commissioned separately as a service.

Notes on individually manufactured cables

Individually manufactured or modified cables must only be used in accordance with their intended specification. In particular for PSU-side cables, a model-specific and pinout-accurate assignment is absolutely mandatory. Modifications or uses outside the intended specification may cause severe damage.

Documentation and testing

Depending on the order, technical documentation may be created, in particular relating to:

  • Installed components
  • BIOS/UEFI status
  • Temperature and test results
  • Pinout or cable documentation
  • Pressure or leak tests
  • Photo or handover records

The scope of documentation depends on the respective order.
